DTU DRIVEN joins PhD presentation event of Doctoral Programme in Computational Sciences

On 22 March 2022 the Doctoral Programme in Computational Sciences, led by Prof. Stéphane Bordas, hosted at DSSE of the Faculty of Sciences, Technology and Medicine of the University of Luxembourg organised a special event for Computational and Data Science. More than 100 participants from a dozen countries took the opportunity to discuss and exchange their views on challenges and opportunities of computational modelling and inference of knowledge using artificial intelligence. PhD students from the doctoral programme and DTU DRIVEN presented their research in the field of computational sciences and/or data-driven modelling for a variety of application domains, e.g. environment, health, engineering, space, energy.

Before the event the presenting doctoral students received group-oriented and individual training to further improve their presentation skills towards a general audience. The resulting pitches were impressive!

Moderator Vivienne Parry ensured a lively discussion amongst the participants during the event.

The event in the main auditorium of the University of Luxembourg at Campus Belval was moderated by Vivienne Parry. Early-stage researchers, supervisors and representatives from Luxembourg companies and institutions came together and enjoyed the interactive components.
