Training course: Computational Research Workflow

Good knowledge of and experience with the typical tools and workflows in computational sciences is extremely important when approaching research work in related to data science, scientific computing and computational modelling. Dr Jack Hale gave a tutorial course on “Computational Research Workflows” on 22 November 2019 to the Doctoral Candidates in DTU DRIVEN.

Training course: Advanced Statistical Analysis

DTU DRIVEN welcomed Professor Ley from Gent University for his PhD course on Advanced Statistical Analysis on 15-17 July 2019 at the University of Luxembourg (UL). About 50 registered Doctoral Candidates from DTU DRIVEN and various other Doctoral Schools at UL enjoyed the lectures and interactive tutorial sessions.

Training course: Numerical Optimisation

Dr Lars Beex introduced the Doctoral Candidates of DTU DRIVEN to the field of Numerical Optimisation from 11th to 13th of June 2019 covering a broad spectrum of potential application domains and following a learning-by-doing approach by implementing the presented methods in computer code together with the participants.
